Duncan Montgomery is a printmaker living in Highgate. This exhibition consists of a series of wood engravings depicting two significant sites in the history of public bathing in England: Parson’s Pleasure, a now-closed male-only bathing place in Oxford, and the swimming ponds on Hampstead Heath. The series has been created with the cultural historian George Townsend, who has curated archive material for the exhibition.
