This course is for students who have a good level of fluency in French, who have studied French at university level and/or spent time living in France.

In class, we prioritise conversation and taking an active part in discussion in order to enhance fluency and build a positive, collaborative dynamic in the group. We explore a broad range of French cultural issues and share a range of media: French print journalism, video news, film etc.

We also explore French literature, reading both classic and modern authors.

Materials. Students will be asked to buy a novel. Other reading and listening material will be provided by the tutor.

A recommended book for grammar: ‘Grammaire progressive du Français’ – Niveau Avancé– Ed. CLE International.
