Summer 2023 Courses

Classes take place in HLSI building overlooking Pond Square, or on Zoom, or outdoors, depending on the subject (and possible Covid restrictions). Class sizes vary, with language classes being the smallest, to enable student participation. Classes are open to everyone, but HLSI members receive course discounts and each term have priority booking before general booking opens.

Below is a list of courses starting in April 2023. Most of them continue through the three terms, as indicated, and some may be added for the Summer term.

Term dates
Most courses run through all three terms, but please note exceptions, which are indicated for individual courses.

Autumn 12 Sept - 9 Dec (half term 24-29 Oct)
Spring 9 Jan - 31 March (half term 13-17 Feb)
Summer 17 April – 13 July (half term 29 May - 2 June)

We are committed to making our courses affordable to as wide a group as possible. A number of places are available at £10 per term/course for people dependent on income-related state benefits. Please contact the office for details on 020 8340 3343.

Student cancellations are not normally accepted. Refunds are only made in exceptional circumstances on application to the HLSI Office.
