Our annual book event for children, this year with special guest
VANESSA WOOLF, storyteller extraordinaire
Vanessa Woolf tells stories that are real, exciting, magical and engaging from start to finish, often using props and music. She performs nationally and internationally. Her many clients include the Royal Academy of Arts, Kew Gardens, Shakespeare’s Globe, National Geographic, the London Eye, Kensington Palace, Royal College of Music, V&A, Selfridges, Big Fish Little Fish, the Unicorn Theatre, the Conway Hall and many more. She has worked with Walker Books, Usborne and Harper Collins to create literary festival workshops and has curated an afternoon of family stories with Guy Garvey for the Southbank’s Meltdown Festival.
We’ll also be selling second-hand books for children and delicious home-made cakes and biscuits, with lots of activities and a quiet story corner.
Admission free for the book fair, £2 per child for storytelling. Click on the time slot to reserve a storytelling place and pay on the door.
