The Highgate Gallery
Highgate Gallery was founded in 1994 and is housed in the C19th vaulted hall within the HLSI. There is good natural light and adjustable track lighting. Work is hung on 1.8m high panels on three sides of the hall (over 19 linear metres), the fourth having a stage which is kept clear. The hiring fee for 2010 is £580 for a two week period.
Highgate Gallery is run by a committee of artists, gallery managers and art collectors. The committee meets every two months and is always keen to see new work submitted for consideration. 2010 committee meeting dates are 12 May, 14 July, 8 September, 10 November.
Opening Hours: Tuesday to Friday 1-5pm, Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm.
Gallery closed: Monday
Friends of Highgate Gallery receive information on all exhibitions, invitations to Private Views and occasional talks by artists and visits to special art collections.
